What is it?
Hydroxypropyl cellulose is the hydroxypropyl ether of cellulose, a white to light-brown powder soluble in cold water to form viscous solutions. It is a film-former, thickener and stabiliser with good film-forming and binding properties, used in food coatings and tablet films.
