Consumer Advice

Processed eucheuma seaweed is a thickening and gelling agent extracted from red seaweed (Eucheuma), similar to carrageenan. It is used to make yogurts, ice cream, drinks and plant milks thicker and smoother. Being seaweed-based, it is purely plant-derived, contains no animal ingredients, and suits vegan, halal and kosher diets.
